A visit to the Royal Palace in Phnom Penh will take you years back when this palace served as the abode of the King of Cambodia, his family, and foreign dignitaries. It was the setting for the court performances, ceremonies, and rituals. The Royal palace still serves as the King’s residence. A walk through the palace grounds will fill you with a sense of royal extravaganza. It is indeed one of the most marvelous tourist attractions in Phnom Penh.

  • You can get guide pamphlets or hire tourist guides.
  • Multi-lingual tour guides available.
  • It is recommended that you go for guided tours.
  • Admission fee: $3.00/ person, $5.00/ video camera, $2.00/ camera.
  • Timing: open everyday, (7:30-11:00) (2:00-5:00). The palace grounds remain closed during official functions.
