The best time to visit Melbourne is just about any time of the year. Melbourne has a temperate climate, with warm to mild spring, tolerably hot summers, and autumn and pleasingly cool winters. Since Melbourne is located in the Southern Hemisphere, the seasons here are the other way round in comparison to the seasonal pattern in Europe, North America, and Asia to a large extent. But this is one rarest place on plane earth where each season touches the city, in all its grandeur and beauty.

    I liked being able to use the bus and go all around the downtown area for one small fee - or nothing. I just remember it was cheap.
